1,2,4-Triazole

1,2,4-Triazole is used as the building block for the synthesis of agrochemicals and active pharmaceutical ingredients It is appreciably soluble in water and alcohol. It can act as ligands to form coordination complexes with transition metal ions.

Due to its electron-deficient nature, 1,2,4-Triazole exhibits excellent electron-transport and hole-blocking properties, making it a useful organic material in material science applications.

The 1,2,4-Triazole provides anti-corrosion properties, and has shown to effectively inhibit the galvanic corrosion between Co and Cu. It can be used as an effective corrosion inhibitor in copper slurries in chemical mechanical polishing. The diverse pharmacological activities of the 1,2,4-Triazole includes antifungal, antiviral, herbicidal, antimigraine, anti-inflammatory, and antitubercular agents.

Three grades are typically available: 95%, 99%, 99.4%.
