4-tert Butyl-pyro-catechol (TBC; solid and methanol solution)

​TBC (tert-butyl catechol) polymerization inhibitor for monomers such as: styrene, vinyl toluene, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, butadiene, isoprene, chloroprene and several others.

TBC combines with peroxides to prevent polymerization in distillation processes, during transport and storage.

Connect Chemicals offers TBC solid, TBC solution in methanol 85% and TBC solution 10% in special solvents.

Shelf Life

Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 18 months.
