Dicyclohexylamine (DCHA)

Dicyclohexylamine (DCHA) with CAS No. 101-83-7 is an aliphatic amine. As an intermediate, it can be used in a broad range of applications in different industries.

One of the main uses is in the rubber industry where the DCHA Dicyclohexylamine is used as a vulcanization accelerator. In lubricants and cutting fluids it does function as a corrosion inhibitor. Here it should be mentioned that Dicyclohexylamine does not form Nitrosamines when being used.

Other applications of DCHA Dicyclohexylamine are in e.g dyes (as of dye precursor) or the use as a plasticizer.

Connect Chemicals does have its own REACh registration for DCHA so that supplies in Europe are fully compliant.
