Potassium tetraxolate (PTO) can be obtained by reacting potassium hydroxide with oxalic acid Commercially the product is also called: Salt of sorrel, sorrel salt, sel d'oseille, sal acetosella;
- It is a commercial product, used in photography, marble polishing and to remove ink stains
Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months.
