Sodium dichloroisocyanurate (SDIC) Dihydrate 56%
Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate (SDIC) Dihydrate 56% is the dihydrate of Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate (CAS 2893-78-9). This product is mainly used as a disinfectant, biocide, industrial deodorant or detergent. It is commonly found in some modern water purification tablets/filters.
It can be used as a preventive for disinfection and environmental sterilization, in monitoring silkworm, livestock, poultry and fish, and also can be used to prevent wool from shrinking, bleaching textiles and cleaning industrial circulating water.
It dissociates in water to form a number of chemical species, notably free chlorine and cyanuric acid.
