Polycaprolactone polyol

From our wide range of polycaprolactone polyol systems, we can offer different product families which include POLYCAP diol, triol and tetrol range. 

The diol-range is available with various initiators and can be supplied with molecular weights ranging from 400 to 8000. Compared with polyether diol, polycaprolactone diols have better weather resistance and heat resistance. Compared with ordinary adipic acid polyester glycol, it also has better hydrolysis resistance and low temperature compliance.  

POLYCAP-410C is a tetra-functional polyol terminated with primary hydroxyl groups. POLYCAP-410C is offering an OH-value above 210 mg KOH/gram, whilst having Molecular Weight of 1000.​

  • Polyurethane elastomer: excellent wear resistance, weather resistance, hydrolytic stability, low temperature flexibility and resilience
  • Coatings: can be used in reactive diluents and modifying agent of many coatings (PU, acrylic, polyester, epoxy and vinyl), color and lustre degradation reduction, reduction of VOC, without affecting the film properties. 
  • Our specialty Tetrol grade PCL-410C is developed for production of high solids coatings where both flexibility and high cross-linking density are required.
  • Adhesives: excellent bonding performance on the substrate, good hydrolytic stability and uniformity. With its low viscosity and long bonding duration, the adhesive can enhance convenience of sizing

Shelf Life

Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months.
