Dodecandioic acid
Dodecandioic Acid (DDDA) is a medium-chain difunctional carboxylic acid with a total chain length of 12 carbon atoms. It is used as raw material for the synthesis of polymers and polymer fibers (Polyamide) or diesters (plasticizers, lubricants), as an additive in functional fluids for metal working and as a corrosion inhibitor in aqueous systems.
In combination with Undecandioic acid, DDDA can be formulated to act as a highly efficient corrosion inhibitor in closed water systems.
DDDA is delivered as a white, free flowing powder or flakes in different purity grades (99%/95%).
Shelf Life
Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months.
