Methacrylamidopropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride
Methacrylamidopropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (MAPTAC) is a cationic water-soluble monomer with 50% active content. MAPTAC is a quarternized amino functional monomer used in many different products as emulsifier, dispersing agent and as cationic thickener.
Applications
It can find its application as flocculant, retention and dewatering aid and is the perfect base for cationic water-soluble polymers as applied in the following industries
