We have an exciting opportunity to join our USA team as:

Business Development Manager – R&D / Custom Manufacturing

Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business opportunities in Custom Manufacturing and convert leads into projects
  • Champion our Custom Manufacturing capabilities with existing and new customers
  • Identify key decision-makers, build strong partnerships, and manage strategic relationships
  • Translate customer challenges into innovative, value adding solutions
  • Maintain a performance driven mindset to meet volume and profitability goals
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and align on project pipelines and customer needs
  • Work hand in hand with R&D teams in Germany and India to advance developments and ensure product, quality, and service requirements are met

Your Profile:

  • Technical background in chemistry, chemical engineering or similar engineering disciplines
  • Solid business development experience in the chemical industry
  • Strong customer centric mindset, driven to solve production and supply chain challenges
  • 8+ years in commercial roles, ideally with a track record of delivering innovative, value added solutions
  • Confident communicator who can engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels; from R&D and procurement to CEOs and production managers
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50 % to support growth and project execution
