Dibasic esters mix (DBE)

​Dibasic ester (DBE) is a refined mixture of dimethyl esters of adipic, glutaric and succinic acids. DBE is a liquid non-flammable, readily biodegradable and non-corrosive with mild fruity odor. ​DBE is readily soluble in alcohols, ketones, ethers, and many hydrocarbons, but only slightly soluble in water and higher paraffins.

Applications

  • Solvents in can/coil, waterborne, magnet wire and automotive coatings. 
  • Industrial cleaners, paint removers, foundry core binders, printing inks, textile, lubricants, urethane reaction solvents, peroxide solvents and chemical grouting/soil stabilization.


Shelf Life

Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 24 months
