n-Butyl glycidyl ether

n-Butyl glycidyl ether (n-BGE) is a colorless transparent liquid, mainly used as epoxy reactive diluent. It has has ether key and epoxy groups, making it involved in the reaction when curing.

n-Butyl glycidyl ether is suitable for epoxy embedding, casting and encapsulating material and is widely used in electronics, electrical apparatus, electromechanics and machinery industries to decrease the viscosity of epoxy resins.

n-Butyl glycidyl ether is also used in non-solvent coatings and adhesives.

Epoxide Equivalent (G/eq) is below 139 to 182.

Shelf Life

Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months in closed packaging; stored cool, dark and dry.
