Potassium tetraoxalate (PTO)
Potassium tetraoxalate (PTO), also known as potassium hydrogenoxalate, is one of the most common salts of the hydrogenoxalate anion.
It is a commercial product, used in photography, marble polishing and to remove ink stains
Potassium tetraxolate (PTO) can be obtained by reacting potassium hydroxide with oxalic acid
Commercially the product is also called: Salt of sorrel, sorrel salt, sel d'oseille, sal acetosella;

Under proper storage conditions the shelf life is 12 months
