Connect Chemicals Group, a global producer, custom manufacturer as well as a traditional distributor for a wide range of specialty chemicals has opened a new application laboratory with a surface area of more than 120 m², to support you in your developments. The laboratory is situated in the south of France, which is the center of the personal care market. This new facility geared with the modern equipment, will serve cosmetic manufacturers and brands across the globe, providing comprehensive technical support to create a variety of innovative personal care formulations at the same time allowing us to collaborate even more closely with our partners. With our latest ingredients adapted to current market needs such as clean beauty, waterless products or simply sustainability, we are focused to make tailored formulations and provide expertise throughout the product development process, from concept to production and commercialization.

Our customers benefit from direct access to a large portfolio of best-in-class, high-quality products with segments including Baby care, Hair care, Make-up, Oral care, Skin care, Sun care and toiletries. We spend time in research and development, whilst working hard to understand your needs and product goals. Our new laboratory vocation is to bring global support within the Group for our cosmetic activities.

The creation and evaluation of new raw materials

Thanks to our highly experienced team and daily communication with our sales team in the field, our scientists are able to respond to market demands, however specific they may be. Design of experiments are put in place to meet the needs of today's and tomorrow's cosmetic market.

Technical support

Our staff, thanks to their expertise and passion, are able to fulfill the customer's requirements, from technical challenges to, for example, the selection of formulations that are in line with economic needs or sustainable goals. The laboratory is a place of exchange and conviviality, where colleagues and/or partners meet to discuss problems as diverse as the optimization of production processes to the remodeling of existing formulas in order, for example, to improve their appearance or increase their stability.

Formulations

Connect Chemicals is your formulation partner thanks to the application laboratory. Before being approved and published, Connect Chemicals' formulation guidelines are tested for their physical, cosmetic and sensory properties. They must pass at least 3 months of accelerated storage stability and the classic centrifugation test in the case of emulsions or other suspensions. Our laboratories, instruments and competence allow us to offer you a complete solution, from the feasibility study of the projects to the realization of prototypes and even pilot plant trials.
