Elixi-CARE EHG+, Ethylhexylglycerin, is a globally approved and multifunctional cosmetic ingredient. Additionally, it is a non-irritating ingredient and can be used safely for all kinds of skin types and in many different application areas.
Functions:
Emollient and mild humectant: It is able to improve the skin feeling of cosmetic formulations
Deodorant active ingredient: it inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria
Active: Antimicrobial boosting capacities
Elixi-CARE EHG+, Ethylhexylglycerin, will enhance the microbiological efficacy of different traditional preservative ingredients / systems and other cosmetic ingredients.
It’s a multifunctional ingredient: moisturizer and preservative booster which can be used in cosmetic emulsion systems such as skin care creams and lotions, in wet wipes, deodorants or in surfactant-based products such as shower gels, facial cleansers, and shampoos.
Recommended use concentration: 0.1 % - 1.0 %
Solubility: Low solubility in water but fairly soluble in alcohols, glycols and mineral oils
