Elixi-KON CPC, Cetylpyridinium chloride, is a cationic quaternary compound used as an antimicrobial and cationic surfactant in various cosmetic products. It is a safe, very efficient & eco-friendly alternative to conventional antimicrobials and preservatives with a broad-spectrum efficacy against gram + and gram bacteria, virus, yeasts and molds.

Elixi-KON CPC is approved by the US FDA as safe and preferred anti-microbial system for use in oral care and to treat plaque including gingivitis. It is a preferred alternative to replace ingredients like Triclosan, triclocarban, Benzethonium chloride, Parabens and Formaldehyde-donors.

Elixi-KON CPC, Cetylpyridinium chloride, can be used alone or in combination with other preservatives to increase its effectiveness.

Recommended use concentration: Max. 0.05 – 2.0% (application restrictions apply)
