Elixi-KON PDB is an easy-to-use liquid preservative suitable for rinse-off and leave-on applications with pH up to 6. Ideal to be applied in wet wipes.
Elixi-KON PDB is stable to hydrolysis, temperature and pH. It is a preservative which can be used in cosmetic emulsion systems such as skin care creams and lotions, in wet wipes or in surfactant-based products such as shower gels, liquid soaps and shampoos.
Prolonged heating periods > 80°C must be avoided. We recommend to add Elixi-KON PDB in the cooling phase, in temperatures below 40 °C.

0.40 % - 1.20 %
Solubility
Soluble in polar solvents. Limited solubility in water and non-polar solvents.
