Preservatives
Elixi-KON PEHG, is a liquid preservative suitable for rinse off and leave on applications with pH up to 12. It is a broad-spectrum preservative compatible with cosmetics ingredients in general.
Elixi-KON PEHG is stable to hydrolysis, temperature and pH. It’s a preservative which can be used in cosmetic emulsion systems such as skin care creams and lotions, in wet wipes, make-up, or in surfactant-based products such as shower gels, facial cleansers, and shampoos. The efficacy can be reduced with ethoxylated surfactants.

0.50 % - 1.00 %
Solubility
Soluble in organic solvents. Limited solubility in water and non-polar solvents.
