Preservatives
Elixi-KON PSB is a liquid preservative suitable for rinse-off and leave-on applications with pH up to 5.5. Its efficiency is increased by reducing the pH value. It is a broad-spectrum preservative compatible with cosmetics ingredients in general.
Elixi-KON PSB is a preservative which can be used in cosmetic emulsion systems such as skin care creams and lotions, in wet wipes, make-up, or in surfactant-based products such as shower gels, facial cleansers, and shampoos.
Prolonged heating periods > 80°C must be avoided. We recommend to add Elixi-KON PSB in the cooling phase, in temperatures below 40 °C.

Solubility
Soluble in water and most polar organic solvents.
