Elixi-Sun A Plus is an effective UVA filter and is photostable, providing reliable and long lasting protection.
UVA light represents approximately 95% of total solar UV radiation and can penetrate deep into the layers of the dermis. UVA can stimulate the production of free radicals and although it is responsible for various skin damage such as aging, allergenic reactions, hyperpigmentation, cancer risk, it is often found difficult to provide adequate, reliable and long-lasting UVA protection in cosmetic products.
Elixi-Sun A Plus is easy to process due to its low melting point and high solubility in common oils. It has good compatibility with other UV filters (organic or mineral) and cosmetic ingredients.

Solubility
Solubility into Triethyl Citrate is excellent.
