Functional Ingredients
ELIXI-CARE EA appears as a clear, colorless liquid that gives off a fruity smell and has high flammability levels. It has an important role as a solvent in adhesives, paints, or coatings, and it can be used to substitute aromatic solvents such as toluene.
Two different grades of ELIXI-CARE EA are available. One semi natural grade where only the ethanol comes from natural origin, and a 100% natural grade where both ethanol and acetic acid comes from natural origin.
Shelf Life
Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 24 months.

Ethyl Acetate is best formulated as part of a balanced solvent system to achieve fast drying, smooth application, and high-quality film for-mation. Proper combination with co-solvents and plasticizers is essential to optimize performance and product stability.
Recommended use concentration
Nail polish & nail treatments: 20–60% Mascaras / eyeliners (solvent-based): 5–25%
Hair styling sprays: 2–15%
Fragrance & body sprays (as carrier/processing solvent): 1–10% Actual levels depend on desired drying time, vis-cosity, and film properties.
Solubility
Moderately soluble in water.
Alcohols (ethanol, isopropanol): Fully miscible
Esters & ketones (butyl acetate, acetone): Fully miscible
Oils / cosmetic esters (isopropyl myristate, castor oil): Partially soluble
