For pharmaceutical applications 2,3,5 Trimethylhydroquinone (TMHQ) is used in the synthesis of vitamin E (α-Tocopherol ) and APIs ( Sertindole, Troglitazone, Afloqualone, Cicletanine, Tocofersolan).
