Cresyldiphenyl phosphate (CDP)

Cresyldiphenyl Phosphate (CDP) is an organophosphate compound used primarily as a flame retardant and plasticizer in a variety of industrial applications. It is part of the aryl phosphate family and provides thermal stability and flame resistance to polymers and resins, making it suitable for use in materials that require high performance in extreme conditions.

Applications:

  • Flame Retardant: CDP is commonly used as an additive in plastics, coatings, and adhesives to enhance fire resistance in a wide range of products, such as electronics and automotive components.

  • Plasticizer: It functions as a plasticizer in polymers, improving flexibility and workability while maintaining the material's structural integrity under heat and stress.

  • Industrial Lubricants and Fluids: CDP is used in industrial fluids, where it enhances thermal stability and prevents material degradation in high-temperature environments.

Shelf Life:

Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months.
