Glucoside 818UP
Glucoside 818UP is a C8-C14 non-ionic, easily biodegradable, low irritating multipurpose surfactant. The product is a cloudy, slightly viscous solution of C8-C16 fatty alcohol glycoside. Glucoside 818UP belongs to the family of Alkyl Polyglucosides (APG’s) and manufactured from renewable sources.
Glucoside 818UP is listed on ECOCERT and it is specifically designed to help formulators develop naturally oriented formulations.
Glucoside 818UP can be used as primary and co-surfactants for several applications.

Glucoside 818UP is a non-ionic surfactant with a balanced combination regarding the foam volume and the excellent dermatological properties. Therefore it is suitable for use as a base surfactant or a co-surfactant in cosmetic cleansing preparations.
Glucoside 818UP exhibits excellent caustic stability and solubility in caustic and saline solutions. Due to its good wetting and dispersing properties Glucoside 818UP can be used for caustic, neutral and acidic hard surface cleaning for the household and institutional sector.
Glucoside 818UP shows excellent solubilizing properties in highly concentrated surfactant solutions also in the presence of salt and alkalis.
Shelf Life
Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months.
