Isobutyl vinyl ether (VIBE)
Isobutyl vinyl ether (VIBE) is a clear and colorless liquid. and only slightly soluble in water.
Applications
- Coating and lacquers particularly on flexible substrates
- Pressure sensitive adhesives . If added in the adhesive formulation, Isobutyl vinyl ether (VIBE) significantly improves bonding strength on difficult substrates and is resistance to plasticizers.
- Modifier for alkyd and polyester resins
- Plasticizer for nitrocellulose
