Consperse 283 is Maleic Acid Copolymer which is an excellent scale inhibitor for calcium carbonate and multifunctional formulation support agent in many industrial water treatment system.

Solubility:
Consperse 283 is soluble/miscible in Water and Ethylene glycol and methanol in all proportion.
If mixed with 50% caustic soda can be readily neutralized with evolution of heat
pH range:
To avoid precipitation, please avoid to formulate Consperse 283 below pH 2.5 or above pH 7.5.
At in use concentrations Consperse 283 is stable across the entire pH range.
Temperature:
Consperse 283 is stable at temperatures up to 200°C.
Oxidizing agent:
Consperse 283 is not affected by chlorine or other oxidizing biocides under normal use conditions.
Consperse 283 is compatible with long chain nitrogen compounds, aliphatic amines and quaternary ammonium compounds.
Shelf Life:
Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months.
