Phosphono Carboxylate Mixture (PCM) is a unique synergistic mixture of phosphonocarboxylic acid salts used to provide scale and corrosion control in industrial water treatment applications such as cooling systems.

Phosphono Carboxylate Mixture (PCM) is a chlorine stable, multifunctional water treatment product designed to control ferrous metal corrosion and mineral scale deposition in open evaporative cooling towers.
Applications
- Phosphono Carboxylate Mixture (PCM) can be used in closed cooling systems and chilled water systems.
- The performance of Phosphono Carboxylate Mixture (PCM) can be further enhanced by formulation with yellow metal inhibitors, disperants and other scale and corrosion inhibitors.
- Phosphono Carboxylate Mixture (PCM) forms the basis of a low phosphorus content, all-organic cooling tower water treatment program.
- Phosphono Carboxylate Mixture (PCM) can be easily formulated with other water treatment products to enhance performance as: polyacrylate, acrylic acid / sulphonic acid, Terpolymers, Phosphonates & phosphinocarboxylates azoles.
Solubility
Phosphono Carboxylate Mixture (PCM) is soluble/miscible in Water and Ethylene glycol in all proportion.
Temperature
The product tends to freeze at around 12°C. However it is enough heat it to bring the product completely liquid.
The phenomena does not effect the quality of the product.
Oxidizing agent
Phosphono Carboxylate Mixture (PCM) is not affected by chlorine or other oxidizing biocides under normal use conditions.
Shelf Life
Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months
